What’s going on! This is Ugochukwu U. Opara, NACA Experienced Realtor here with another NACA Mortgage Program review with my client Labreea A.!

WARNING! BUMPY RIDE! This was a transaction where we just kept running into roadblocks. The seller side wanted to beat me up several times because things were taking so long but we made it! The journey is different for each client but we all have the same end goal! For this transaction, despite everything, we still make it to the goal. I supported Labree through the NACA program and helped her purchase a 4 bedroom 1.5 bath home in the hot Cobbs Creek Area in West Philly and she walked away with an interest rate of 0.25% on a 30 year convention mortgage and her monthly payment is around $662/m for EVERYTHING (Principal, Interest, Taxes, Insurance)! That’s one hell of a mortgage. NO ONE IS ABLE TO MATCH OR COME CLOSE TO NACA (yes I am actually yelling!) Despite how sucky this transaction turned out for oh so many reasons, we still pulled it off and man was my client rewarded!

NACA is a great program and it worked out well for Wesley and it was an honor and a privilege to serve as his NACA realtor!

  1. The real estate agent does not have to be NACA certified. It is only recommended to use a NACA agent because they are familiar with the process. You can use any Real Est. agent.

  7. If I walk into the first session with a credit report that shows only 4 open accounts that are 7 months old with NO late or NO missed payments and over $10K saved in the bank for 7 months AND have NO collections, NO derogatory marks, NO negative accounts, NO judgements, NO liens, NO bankruptcies, NOTHING but 4 open accounts for 7 months, how long will the process take to get a house or close. Because if I walk in and I still have to wait a year with a clean, clear credit report and with that much money in the bank for over 7 months, then this program is ridiculous!!! Please advise.

  8. I’m in the mortgage process stage finally. They transferred my file to another state took NACA an entire week to get it back to my state. No one returned my calls nor emails. I was supposed to close July 31 hopefully I will close beginning of September. I know your pain.
