  5. Please fix the apostrophe in the title. It should be "parents" instead of "parent's".

  6. This woman is a train wreck! I can see why her boyfriend broke up with her. She has 8K in credit card debt, car payments, no job & homeless. Every man should stay far away from this woman!

  7. At 27 her parents should not be obligated to pay for her School. She mentioned she recently broke up with her boyfriend so there may be more to that story. Sounds like her plans didn't work out and she needs someone to blame. BUT as a parent your doors should be open especially in times of difficulty.

  8. Finish the degree even if you take out some more loans. Delivering pizza and driving for Uber are both a joke and you end up making less than the minimum wage once all the costs are taken out. Get your degree, and then make a decent 50k salary and then pay off the debt. Doesn't make any sense to work trash jobs when you only have one year of school left.

  14. Over time, build up a cushion of cash, and keep your credit good as a second cushion. And don't use either, but have them there.

The car is more important than the credit cards. And stop increasing the credit card debt.

  16. She's 27, probably still attractive to a lot of men.

Remember to let that friend you're staying with know that you will help in the future if needed.

  18. My daughter asked me to help her pay college tuition.
I said on one condition. No student loans. She agreed.
Now she has a masters degree and no debt.
And I’m a high school drop out.

  20. I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE OUT STUDENT LOANS. These loans cannot ever extinguished in bankruptcy. You pay it off or take it to the grave. They can garnish your wages, social security, intercept your tax returns, ruin your credit.

  21. Parents do this. They give there 18 year old kids no other options. It’s either go to college (with loans) or get kicked out and figure life out on your own. The department of education knows that there are a lot of parents who don’t prepare for their children so this is one of the many reasons why student loan debt is a crisis in America.

  27. Do not wear out your car delivering pizzas! It is a scam. So is uber, Lyft, door dash, etc! Don't use your car to make a profit for a corporation. Unless you are paying $1 per mile to your car expenses.
