  1. People needs to learn about cryptocurrency. It is still early enough to get you very rich. Bitcoin already went to the moon, but there are many other currency to invest in.

  2. I went into a GMC dealership because I wanted a trunk for "work" and almost signed off on a $60,000 truck. I got cold feet at the finance office and walked out of the deal. I shudder thinking about that incident. Almost ruined my life for a stinking truck.

  3. My buddy makes 13 per hour washing cars and he just traded in his Audi A4 for a Porsche Macan, the stealership only gave him 15k for his Audi which he still owes money on, the Porsche is 70k…his monthly payment is about 1k a month…

  4. Everyone is talking about how stupid it is to have a $60,000 truck…and it is stupid, but the two things that a lot of these calls have in common is a wife that doesn't work and kids.

  11. Spending loads of cash that you dont have on transportation? Like Dave says, "Trying to impress people you dont know." I dont care how others feel about what i drive. I am retired at age 56. That feels great to me.

  15. Average couple makes half of that a year. Did not mention his wife working. With one child you can work part time weekends or evenings. That would help a lot.

  17. I don't understand how some people allow themselves to get in such a financial mess. The guy makes good money, he should be looking good. Either it's a case of keeping up with the Jones or a simply a case of poor math skills. Society has a some measure of fault in that materialism is glorified above all else, advertisement continues to point out what we need to be happy, financing is much too easy, it's no wonder that so many people get suckered in this way. We, as a society, have to start promoting sound financial values, delayed gratification, self-sufficiency, cash based economics, otherwise we'll continue to see more of this.

  19. No, you can't save up and pay for a "fairly nice vehicle and maybe a toy" making 105K / yr within "weeks".

  22. I don't understand how some of these callers making $100,000+ end up in these situations. I had one year that I made close to 100,000, didn't budget and still had a couple thousand left over in the bank. Each month

  24. This is beyond stupidity! Wow at 30 buying two trucks and the wife didn’t put her foot down! Pain is the best way to learn and I see a divorce in the future if they don’t grow up!

  25. I've heard Dave say that your house payment shouldn't be more than 25% of your take home pay. I know car payments are out of the question, but does anybody know if he's ever stated a reasonable car value for your income?
